Sedum Palmeri

An interesting sedum from North East Mexico where it grows in open woodland. I find it to be a really useful little plant because it can be grown in a wide range of conditions including light to partial shade. It is also great in window boxes or an understory in large containers

For me the flowers are a secondary consideration. They are yellow on 20cm stems and occur for a few weeks in spring. The foliage however is very good being a blueish grey in summer and taking on pink and red tones over the cool months.
