Epimedium grandiflorum var. pierre purple

There is a number of grandiflora hybrids. Pierre purple is a strong one with deep purple flowers occurring at the same time as deep pink new growth. As with all the grandiflorum hybrids it requires good soil in partial shade. This group grows very well in pots and the foliage stands up well once flowering has finished.
