Disporopsis arisanensis

A bigger and bolder plant than the usual pernyi, the flowering is identical small white bells hanging beneath arching stems. Arisanensis has much larger foliage is a little taller and makes more compact clumps. Its foliage is less susceptible to slug and snail damage.

This is a great plant for the shade garden the evergreen foliage blending well with Epimedium, Clivia and Hakonechloa.

Some years I cut the foliage to the ground just prior to regrowth in early spring
