Crocus x chrythanthus ?

I have very little knowledge of Crocus so this is an uneducated guess.The species Chrysanthus has many varieties with considerable variation. This is late winter early spring flowering species.

The flowers in bud are soft yellow with dark brown/purple veining, when fully open the inside of its petals are mauve.

I raised these bulbs from seed many years ago and they have increased at a moderate rate. Like most crocus I grow them as woodland bulbs planted deep in good leafy soil beneath deciduous trees
