Coprosma black cloud

Black cloud s a low growing shrub from New Zealand. As with so much New Zealand’s flora the tiny leaves have a bronze hue which deepens during the winter months.

The bronze foliage evolved to discourage Moa which were the principal grazing species there.

This shrub can be a good alternative to Box for hedging, it also makes a good dense cover for steep banks.
