Arum palaestinum

A tuberous plant from the Middle East with a deep red spathe in spring. This plant is very slow to establish and resents disturbance so choose the right position and leave it alone.

These plants are best planted beneath deciduous trees were the get good winter light then a cool dry rest during dormancy.

I have not had any self sown seedlings from this plant
